# Making workgroup changes

Workgroup changes can only be made by an Administrator.

Workgroup change settings can be adjusted to determine what roles are permitted to move metadata items between workgroups.

### How to make workgroup changes

1. Select 'Aristotle Cloud Dashboard' from the dashboard side panel.

2. Select 'View registry settings'.

3. From the 'Workgroup changes' subheading, the ability of submitters, managers and registry administrators to move metadata items between workgroups can be toggled via the relevant checkboxes. If these checkboxes are left unticked, the relevant role will be unable to move metadata items between workgroups within their Stewardship Organization.
