Managing user accounts

How to Manage User Accounts 

You must be an administrator of the Registry to be able to perform these actions 

How to access user accounts 

As an Administrator of the Registry you have the ability to manage user accounts.

To access user accounts: 
1. From your Dashboard side panel select  
   You'll be taken to the the Registry Administrator Tools page


2. Select  from the Manage Registry list
    You will see a list of all the users within the Registry

Inviting new users 

From the Current members of the Registry page 
1. Select  


2. Fill in emails of users you would like to invite to the Registry. Make sure you only put one email per line.

3. Select  once done and the users will receive an activation email. 

Deactivating a user

When a user has been deactivated they will no longer be able to log into the Registry 
From the Current members of the Registry page 
1. Search for the name of the user you wish to deactivate in the search bar 


2. Select the  button next to the users name and then "Deactivate this user" 

3. You will receive a warning page before deactivating a users account
 
4. Select  and the user will be deactivated in the Registry

Managing user accounts

Permissions

From the Current members of the Registry page 
1. Select the  button next to the users name and then "Change site-wide permissions"

2. You will be able to change the users permissions for the whole Registry:
Enable superuser permissions - this allows a user to see and edit ALL content in the Registry.
All user to view all metadata - This allows a user to see view all metadata stored in the registry, including metadata in user Sandboxes. This also allows a user to view ALL issues for metadata.

Sandbox

From the Current members of the Registry page 
1. Select the  button next to the users name and then "View profile"

 You will be taken to the users Profile page:

2. Under "Actions", select  and you will be taken to a view of the users Sandbox


Edit user profile

From the Current members of the Registry page 
1. Select the  button next to the users name and then "Edit profile"

You will be able to edit:
The users email address, the users full name, the users display name and the users profile picture
