How to invite and update permissions of Aristotle Metadata staff on a client registry
For security reasons Aristotle Metadata staff are required use Single Sign-On (SSO) to enhance security and safeguard the privacy of client metadata and content. With SSO, Aristotle Metadata staff members are required to be authorised by clients to access to the platform. If they need more access or permissions, they must request those from a client registry administrator.
To grant the permissions to Aristotle staff, users need to be an administrator of the registry.
How to invite aristotle staff to your registry
From the Aristotle dashboard, scroll down and click on "Administrator tools".
Click on "Manage Aristotle staff".
Click on "Assign Aristotle staff".
Navigate to the comment section and explain the reason "why you are inviting this person."
Write the email address of the person you are inviting under the "Aristotle email" section.
User can add more users by clicking at "Add another email".
Click on "submit" to invite the users to the registry.
How to change permissions of the Aristotle staff on the platform
Click on manage button located next to the user whose permissions need to be modified on the platform.
Click on "Change site wide permissions".
Select the permissions that users wants to give to the Aristotle staff by ticking the box.
Click on "Save changes".
Aristotle staff has been successfully given new permissions on the platform.
How to give Superuser permissions to the Aristotle staff on the platform
Click on "manage button" located next to the user whose permissions need to be modified on the platform.
Click on "Manage superuser permission".
To give the superuser permission, Click on "Edit Superuser access".
Select the box to update the superuser permission for the Aristotle staff on the platform.
User needs to set the expiry date from when this permission can expire on this platform.
The user should briefly explain why it's necessary to give superuser permissions to Aristotle staff.
Click on "Save Changes".
