Linking an organization record to a metadata item

Only Stewardship Organization Administrators can link an organization record to a metadata item.

Stewardship Organization Administrators can link organization records to metadata items in order to identify them as being associated with the relevant organization.

1. From the desired metadata item's 'Actions' dropdown, select 'Open item editor'.

1. Select 'Names & References'.

1. Select 'Add' from the 'Organisation Records' field.

1. Select whether the relevant organization is responsible only for submitting the metadata item ('Submitting Organization'), or is responsible for the metadata item in general even after submission ('Responsible Organization') using the 'Type' dropdown.

1. Select the organization record you wish to assign to this metadata item using the 'Organization Record' dropdown.

1. Select 'Save Changes'.

1. The linked organization record will now appear on the item's page.
