# Remove Metadata from Workgroup

### Removing Metadata directly from Workgroup

1. Go to Workgroup, either from <img src="/files/aGR2Qpe8n3wlEQUkVm0m" alt="" data-size="line"> dropdown, or click on see all... in the same dropdown and then click on 'Workgroups' from the left side panel.

2\. Click on the Workgroup from where you want to remove the metadata.

3\. Go to the Metadata tab. Click on the Item actions dropdown, and then click 'Remove from Workgroup'.

4\. Then it will ask to confirm, click on 'Confirm'.

### Removing metadata from a Workgroup in a Stewardship Organisation

1. Go to 'Browse' from the header, then click on the 'Browse' below Stewardship Organisations.

2\. Click on the Stewardship Organisations name, then go to the 'Workgroup' tab and select the workgroup from where you want to remove the metadata.

3\. In the Workgroups, go to the metadata tab. Click on the Item actions dropdown, and then click 'Remove from Workgroup'.

4\. Then it will ask to confirm, click on 'Confirm'.
