Creating and managing registration authorities

How to create a new Registration Authority 

You have to be an Administrator to add a new Registration Authority

1. Go to “Administrator Tools” at the bottom of the Dashboard side menu

2. Select the "Add Registration Authority" link



3. Click the "Add New Registration Authority" button 


4. Add the Stewardship Organisation you would like the new Registration Authority to belong to

5. Add a name for the Registration Authority and a Definition



6. Once done, click the "Create new Registration Authority" button and you will be taken to you new Registration Authority's page 


Managing a Registration Authority 

1. Go to “Administrator Tools” at the bottom of the Dashboard side menu

2. Select the "Add Registration Authority" link



3. Click the Registration Authority you would like to manage



4. In the  tab you can see the Definition and the Status Levels with their visibilities 


The tab allows you to search and filter content that has been endorsed by the Registration Authority


The tab lets you view and add new members to the Registration Authority 


You can also manage existing members permissions or remove members
 

The tab lets you change the Name and Definition of the Registration Authority, you can also manage the visibility and whether the Registration Authority is "Active" or "Inactive"


From the left side of the page, you are also be able to edit the Registration Authority state names and the states when metadata items registered within this Registration Authority are Locked and Public


From here you can also add in Descriptions of the meaning for each state


Validation Rules are where you can add in specific validators to check against any items that are trying to be registered with this Registration Authority.
