The advanced search page provides registry users with the ability to filter, refine and sort search results more precisely than what is possible with the omnisearch alone.
Access the advanced search page by searching for anything in the homepage search bar, or via the omnisearch's magnifying glass (non-filtered search).
Select the filter menu (which reads 'All' by default) and adjust the search filters as desired. Only content that matches the type chosen as your search filter will appear in the relevant search results.
Note: The 'Type' filters are defined as follows:
'All': Searches for content of all types
'Issues & Discussion': Searches for issues and discussion posts
'Data': Searches for:
Datasets
Data catalogues
Distributions
'Help': Searches for:
Concept help pages: Help pages relating to concepts outlined in ISO 11179
Standard help pages. Help pages relating to other functions of the Aristotle Metadata Registry

Select 'Search' once you are ready to search.
If you wish to refine your search results, select a relevant descriptor from the 'Refine your results' field.
Notes:
The number of registry items currently matching the relevant descriptor (based on current filters) is listed alongside it.
