### Registry settings  <a href="#registry_settings" id="registry_settings"></a>

From the Cloud Settings Editor page, you are able to change and edit registry settings as well. There are many settings you can change and edit, so we will run through them individually below.

1. General Registry settings

   <figure><img src="https://1464151032-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FIXci0eiRxXA0UhVYnwA2%2Fuploads%2FaynsjDdUN2GTr6aQr2E6%2Fimage%20(24).png?alt=media&#x26;token=a1f55496-c2ce-4daf-a0c1-0f781488c937" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

   Here you can change the site name and site intro.

2\. Metadata extensions, functionality extensions and separators

<figure><img src="https://1464151032-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FIXci0eiRxXA0UhVYnwA2%2Fuploads%2FlUtTiTYJCwoHPcfwIwmQ%2Fimage%20(25).png?alt=media&#x26;token=3bfc2663-fc23-4b28-9bf9-64b79686dbd4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In the metadata extension settings, you can enable or disable metadata types within the registry.\
\
Functionality extensions are where you can enable slots, identifiers and select the role in the workgroups that have permission to move metadata across workgroups.

\
Separators are where you can add in custom separators that appear in the metadata creator and editor for Data Elements and Data Element Concepts - these are used as the separators for those item types and encourages users to be consistent with creation guidelines for metadata.

3\. Download modules

<figure><img src="https://1464151032-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FIXci0eiRxXA0UhVYnwA2%2Fuploads%2FfPwXDy1CTx4pINfBVxgT%2Fimage%20(26).png?alt=media&#x26;token=c1667187-3c16-4037-8ae5-7d9b3f392df1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This is where you can enable or disable download types for downloading content in the system. You an also select the default page size for a PDF download, and add in a copyright statement if required.

4\. Self signup options and allowed emails

<figure><img src="https://1464151032-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FIXci0eiRxXA0UhVYnwA2%2Fuploads%2F6j7QHg49PQYjAY8oyPlS%2Fimage%20(27).png?alt=media&#x26;token=55f56f8f-e7f4-4c29-87aa-b648fa5e5dcc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

From here you can enable or disable self signup options to the registry and add in allowed email extensions that are able to self signup to the registry. \
\
5\. Content security policies&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://1464151032-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FIXci0eiRxXA0UhVYnwA2%2Fuploads%2FplmWTnGMeSewNvsijZPb%2Fimage%20(29).png?alt=media&#x26;token=853fa20a-95df-4730-9d43-67cdae9c54b7" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

> Here you can set the security policies around what role in the registry has permissions to edit content once it is at a 'locked' state within the registry. \
> \
> You can also set what role within the registry has permissions to delete unregistered content within the registry.&#x20;

6\. Once done changing or editing the registry settings, don't forget to save at the bottom of the page.&#x20;
